ok i have a vafc2 laying around and i have a question. i am running a d16y8 in my 96 civic dx. i am still running the p2e ecu which is the stock dx ecu. i was wondering if i can hook up vtec and make it work properly through the vafc2? if so, how? i know the vafc2 needs an input and output signal to run vtec thats why i am asking this question. i have searched and did not have any luck. i would greatly appreciate any feedback from you guys.

im past that already... i did not buy the unit brand new and it did not come with instructions when i bought it. i went on apexi web site and read the manual but i want to know if there is a way i can hook up vtec without the vtec ecu

Sure, wire a momentary switch. One end from the batter to the switch, then one from the vtec solnoid to the switch.
