Need help taking main bearing cap off!

Need help taking main bearing cap off!

Im trying to take the crank out and the main bearing cap won't come off. I don't know what else to do, i feel like taking a hammer to it. Is there anything i could be doing wrong?

Just tap it with a plastic or brass hammer. It should come right off. Don't use a hardened hammer, it might damage the cap.

Nevermind, hit the sucker with a hammer and got it.
