Need help with swap!!
Car: 93 DX
Motor: OBD1 JDM B18C
Tranny: 98 CTR (supposedly)
Problem: The rear tranny mounting bracket (shaped like a T) has three holes that bolt it to the transimission, but with one bolt threaded in, the other two holes don't line up! Grrr! The stock bracket isn't even close to fitting so that isn't an option. The tranny has LSD stamped on it and is a hydro unit. The tranny bolts to the engine just fine, but the rear engine stiffener doesn't line up with its hole on the tranny either. I believe the motor originally had an auto bolted to it so is that causing problems? Is it possible that I received the bracket from the auto (is it different from the manual's bracket?) and I might need to get a rear engine stiffener for a manual tranny? I'm in the middle of the swap and need some help asap. Thanks in advance.
BTW: If you have pics of your rear tranny mount I would appreciate it if you would post them or email them to me. Thanks.
