Default Need help please. OBd1 ecu problems!

i have a 90 crx si (Obd0) and i have an Obd0 to Obd1 conversion harness, anyways we chipped the Obd1 ecu last night and got to chips burned, and the guy helping me said i would need an Obd1 distributor too, so i took the one off this d16y7 i have in my room and the plugs were different, so i had to put the stock Obd0 distributor back on.. so do i have to change the distributor or not, if so what has to be done ? repin the plugs to fit the Obd1 distributor ??? thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Yes, you have the run the OBD1 or OBD2 distributor. The trigger wheel tooth count is different from the pre-obd (OBD0). Just repin the plugs. There are a million threads on here about changing the plugs/wires.
