Need help on where do these coolant hoses go, the problem is i don't have 2 nipples on the thermostat housing and i think one those go to the one of the heater hoses? also tell me if everything else looks right. thanks

your missing the heater core valve,which has another hose connected to it.


that input next to your upper radiator hose is the one that goes to the faic
w/e its called, (under throttle body)


you could download the service manual at hondahookup.com and it'll tell you everything

 

in the second pic where it says side nipple in the manual it says it goes to the throttle body, the one next to the upper rad hose is the one i'm having trouble with. and also where the hell does the other heater hose go connected?

 

ok i figured that the one next to the upper rad hose is the same as the one under the fuel injector, someone please let me know, at least that's what the pic in the manual says but it's hard to read. so i plugged the one next to the upper rad hose.

My next problem is where do i hook up the other heater hose( the longest of the 2 in the pic?) i know the short one runs to the valve under the vtec solenoid.

 

Can someone take a pic of their set-up and compare to mine please, really need this info. thanx

The other heater hose goes to the water pipe. I think you have the oil cooler lines wrong. In the picture you have both the 1st and 2nd nipples going to the water cooler. On my car, the 1st nipple goes to the driver's side heater and the 2nd nipple goes to the oil cooler. I forget where the other oil cooler pipe goes.

 

According to the manual for b18c the oil cooler lines are correct, the first nipple to the left on top goes to the oil cooler, the first nipple on the bottom to the left goes to the block. but thanks for the help anywyas

 

Ok, I just got home and check my helm's and my car. There are 3 nipples coming off the water pipe. The first (starting from the driver's side) goes to the heater, the 2nd goes to the oil cooler, and the 3rd for the IACV.

How many ports are on your water pipe? If you only have two that would explain the confusion.

 

yea theirs only 2, I appreciate the help but i figured it out. I needed the thermostat housing with 2 nipples and the nipple on the upper rad hose i'll plug up and use the one from the manifold. thanx again for those that helped.
