Need help finding a wire....
I'm working on an RPM pick-up project. I got the MSD 8918 GMR pickup unit and I'm supposed to attach it to the Inductive ignition coil primary wire. Well, i did and it didn't work. It worked when i attached it to one of the spark plug cable wires, but the signal wasn't good enough.
I actually tried it on all ignition coil wires, but with no luck.
Now i don't know if this thing just doesn't work or if i didn't attach it to the right wire.
So here is my question:
Where exactly is this primary wire? Maybe i lost my mind and had the wrong wires this whole time.
Car is a 94 Civic HB with a 97 JDM ITR motor. OEM ignition.
Please reply if you know
