my car redlined for ten seconds tops and then died. wont start. If i remember right it doesn't even turn over. Its been siting since august and i'm gona have a chance to have a look at it in a few weeks, anybody have any ideas as whats wrong with it? timing belt is still intact.

It's very possible that one of the internals deformed and had a territorial dispute with something immobile inside the engine. If this is your case, plan on buying a new engine.
