Default Need help with EGT gauge!!

I wanted to know where is it good place to mount the sensor for the EGT gauge to get the most accurate reading. I went to a shop and they told me to tap the sensor on the cylinder 1 casue the exclipes and evo's have them there would that be the same for the Integra.

Thanks

yes most if not all people tap into the cylinder #1 exhaust primary including V8s, turbo diesel engines.

Cylinder Number 3 is the hottest on a Honda, put the EGT probe there, 2" from the head.
