I posted this in the civic forum as well but i need help right away. Wasup guys, i'm in the market right now for a cheap b18 block to have sleeved and turboed. My original intent was for a b18b block but i got offered a b18a block yesterday, bare block with main caps for 50 bucks. I'm wondering aside from the year difference what is the main differences between these two blocks? Also what would you guys do? Keep in mind i might want to do Ls/vtec with a b16a2 head. thanks.

they are gonna be the same. some of the sensors are in different places, but other than that they are gonna be the same. if yo'ure going ls/vtec just pickup which ever you can get cheaper.
