need help difference between b18a and b18b

need help difference between b18a and b18b
wasup guys, i'm in the market right now for a cheap b18 block to have sleeved and turboed. My original intent was for a b18b block but i got offered a b18a block yesterday, bare block with main caps for 50 bucks. I'm wondering aside from the year difference what is the main differences between these two blocks? Also what would you guys do? Keep in mind i might want to do Ls/vtec with a b16a2 head. thanks.

b18a blocks are perfect for buildups and are basically identical to the b18b when u take all the sensors off ..there perfect because they are cheap as hell to find ...goo luck silver

cool i was told it wwas almost the same minus a mount but that can be changed. is this true?

Differences are the intake manifold, and head flows a little better for the b18b. Stock hp for b18a is 140 and b18b is 142.
