Default Need Help Could a bad release bearing/fork cause slave cylinder to pop out?

I was driving home from work a couple days ago, It was all highway driving until i hit my neighborhood, once i got to low speeds all the pressure on the clutch died and I couldn't get in gear.
I checked the slave cylinder the next day and the piston was popped out. I changed the slave cylinder w/ a new unit, started to bleed the clutch, then I heard a pop and break fluid exploded from the slave cylinder.

I took off the slave cylinder and the piston was popped out again

I felt around the release fork and i could move it up down left right, every which way, is it supposed to be like that? I've been hearing my tranny rattle at low idle, im thinking its the release bearing....has this happend to anybody else?

ill post pics of the stuff a little later on
