hey guys i need your opinion. i'm thinking about buying a guys 90 crx si that has a mini me in it. The problem is that the guy said the car doesn't start. He said that his car got stolen and they stole the vtec controller in the car. He thinks this is why the car wouldnt' start.

My thing is that wouldn't it not matter if it had the vtec controller or not? The car would start but not have vtec. Do you think the car not starting has something to do with the mini me? I don't think so. But if i can get it too work for $500 it would be worth it.

People have engines running all the time that support VTEC, but then again VTEC isnt working. Just because of a Vtec controller missing should not cause it not to start.

THere are a number of possibilites why it wouldnt start though...
