Default NEED HELP!! Car losing power

I have a 2000 Accord with a H22 swap. My friend and I pulled my dash out to paint it, I didn't really want to, but he said it was easy to put things back together. Well, since then my car hasn't been the same. The car will run for a bit then slowly things start to die. Radio first then the dash goes blank. On top of that my speedometer won't read, now my trip and tach are dead. I have since replaced the alternator, battery is near new. Its a red top Optima thats about 6 months old. I have check grounds and fuses, all is good. What else can it be? What am I missing? Please help.

Thanks
~Doug

maybe one of the wires is crimped, and shorting out, check that.

something is shorting out, or loose

Do you mean behind the dash? Would something so small cause this much trouble?
