Need help, car leaking tranny fluid.
First I thought it was my motor oil but I jacked my car up and saw oil dripping from the tranny side. I can't seem to find the actual spot where it's coming from, but it seems to be dropping around the area where the shift linkage bolts to the tranny. Kinda hard to explain, but the I see oil coming from around where the the stabilizer bar bolts to the tranny (not the bar with the pin). How can I find out where the leak is? Is there something I can pour into my tranny that will seal the leak? TIA.
Ok, I have found out what it wrong. Here it goes:
Awhile back I had a shop install my clutch. So of course they had to take off my tranny and shift linkage, etc. When I got it back it was fine and everything, except when one day I was driving, my stablizer bar for my shift linkage had came off the tranny. This is the bar w/o the pin; w/o this bar I can't shift or get into gear. So I found out that they had cross-threaded the hole where the bolt goes in to hold the bar onto the tranny. I had it towed back to the shop where I had the clutch installed and had them fix it. They ended up just re-tapping the hole to fit a bigger bolt. Now this was all fine and dandy until I saw the oil dripping. Turns out the hole was tapped to big and now its kinda like chipped off and this is where the oil is coming from. What can I do? Is my tranny screwed? Am I screwed. Can I take any legal action against the shop? Someone please help.

Try JB Weld or quick steel if you can get it to the hole. I know it sounds kinda getto but this is one of the only ways I can think of to get the hole sealed. It Will hold at least for a while.

Anyone? Can this be fixed or do I have to get another tranny?? PLeasze help.
Edit: Quick re-cap:
1. Had clutch installed at shop.
2. After less than week of driving, shifter stabilizer bar falls off while driving because bolt and washer come off. I buy new washer and bolt from Acura so I can put it on only to find out that the hole has been cross-threaded.
3. I tell shop to fix it because I say they caused it. They re-tap the hole to fit a bigger bolt and end up going in to deep into the tranny.
4. I find leak underneath my car. I look and see that it is coming from the hole where the bolt goes into; and it has chipped off.
So I can't even put the bolt back in. I can't drive my car. They didn't charge me for the re-tapping. Why? Because they knew it was their fault for cross-threading it. What can I do? This really makes my day.
