the sparking plug test on top of the valve cover doesn't show any spark whatsoever,

the starter works fine, it cranks, i have fuel but no spark at all.

i've checked the blk/yel fat wire going to the distributor and it's got 12v, i've changed the whole distributor with a spare one i had, i even checked the Main Relay and it works fine.

the yel/grn wire from distrib. to the ecu A20 was also checked, no prob.

the cam timing is untouched, what else do i have to check?

It could be just a dying/faulty alternator/battery???

 

another battery was used, the alternator is almost brand new.

someone said it could also be a freaky thing from the imobilizer, but other than that what else can i check into?

 

Does the immobilizer shut down the spark? I though it only shut down the fuel injection...

hmm, coil on two diff. distributors?

 

1)did you check for continuity on the distributor wires?
2)do you have a good ground?
3)are the plugs new?

i bet its the ground...
