NEED HELP ASAP with b18c1
ok i just changed my head gasket on my b18c1 and now when i go to torgue down the cam caps the bolts keep snapping. ive broken 2 already and i dont wanna break ne more. so far the only thing i can think of is the fact that im reusing the old bolts or the torque wreanch is off. i was only torqueing to 10lbs to start and i broke 2 so if ne one has ne input please let me know.
o and sry theres prob sum horible spelling and grammer in there but im not to happy at the moment

Never happened to me. Every time I have broken a bolt it has either been rusted or overtightened like crazy. When that happens the bolt stretches and becomes very weak

ok well thanks for the help but i finally sat down and look over the bolts and there in a hour glass shape from being torqued down so thats y there were breaking they were so stressed before so new ones r ont he way thanks again
