my car loses power and when i give it gas it doesnt want to go and when i put it to neutral it rpm drops real fast and shuts down. and now when i start it it cranks slowly but eventually starts. it also has a idling problem now. and the radio presets get reset when i shut off my car, but if i shut off the radio first before i turn off da car it stays.. I have no clue wat happened. neep help please. 4-5 weeks prior i did cams, valve train, ported, milled head, spoon headgasket, ctr pistons. it ran fine till oneday driving to school (400) miles away it just didnt want to move when i gave it gas and it just died on me on da highway. but i just put it third and clutched it and it started up again i still made it to school and been driving it for two weeks now. Some please help me thanks

 

Check the tps and map sensor connectors for a bad connection
could you have possibly have them switched?

Have you checked the cam timing?

 

nah i dont think so cuz i never changed them since i did the swap about 2 1/2 yrs ago

 

check your cam timing i bet your belt jumped a tooth
