Well ever since i bought my car I have had this problem when I start to press on the gas it the fuel like cuts out and the car starts to stall but then it will just idel.. the car sat for like about 4 years and i knew the gas was bad but there was a little less that 1/4 tank left so i went to the gas station and put like 20$ of 93 octane gas in it which almost filt my car. I drove the car around with Hans (honduhh) and it started to work for a little then it started bogging again.. It works fine once you get into like low gears like low rpms in like 3rd,4th,or 5th but thats about it. Tranny is fine. We thought it might be the map sensor b/c the guy who had the car before me rigged it so tomrrow im going to get a new one but anyone know wat else it could be? suggestions. please ASAP thanks.

check the plugs and you might want to chage the fuel filter and add some gas treatment

I changed the plugs.. Ill check fuel filter tomorrow. I tried injector cleaner... no worky =[

also change out the cap and rotor.

Distributer problem. As was mentioned check the cap and rotor if it still happens try swapping a distributer with a friend to see if its the whole thing that could also be a problem

Check your fuel pressure via fuel pressure gauge.
