Default need help

ok i just got my ls/vtec motor back together after replaceing my head gasket. when i start the car it idles incredible low and stutters. when it idles low like this i have no CEL. well if i drive the car after about 30 seconds the CEL will come on and the idle will go back to ~1000 and everything will run fine. but the same thing happens everytime i turn the car off and back on. the code its throwing is a Map Sensor code. i dont know what would be causing this, maybe if i didnt hook some vacume lines up correctly or somthing. anyone know what i could check or what would be causing this? thanks in advance.

and of course check the map sensor, your car runs fine after the cel cause it goes in closed loop.
