Need help with 01 F23 Accord motor put in 95 Accord...HELP!

Default Need help with 01 F23 Accord motor put in 95 Accord...HELP!

I got a 2001 F23 Accord DX motor non vtec and put it in girlfriends 95 Accord LX non vtec and put her intake manifold on the new engine and used the 95 distributor and the car will not start......Not sure what is wrong, mabey something to do with the distributor. If anyone has done this or knows....PLEASE HELP!

I would try putting on a dizzy from an 01.

Typically when you see a "full swap" a matching distributor is included, which would lead me to believe you should have the 01 dizzy...

Anybody else that can help this guy out?

you most likely did not hook up the ground on the thermostat. that engine should work fine with the f22 intake manifold and distributor.
