Ok long story short i was driving my buddies swapped hatch last nite, went to shift into second gear (7000rpm shift) and it wouldnt allow me to go into gear, it just stayed in neatural , after this the car wont engage any gears while its on , well its weird the tranny was leaking no fluids, no metal bits around the area , when the car is off it goes thru every gear smoothly , now when i leave it in a gear and start the car i hear a whining noise , but as soon as i put it back to neautral the noise goes away , im totally stumped as to what the problem might be plz help me out cuz i wanna find out whats wrong so i can buy and replace the part for my friend, any info appreciated take care!
