Default need help? "what happened" situation

i have a obd1 gsr swap in a eg, im running a gsr obd1 p72 ecu which is stock, my first vtec kicks in at a little after 4 and i redline is 8200, also being the fuel cutoff, so heres my problem, i dont know if my tach is off or something but, my car idles at 0 now and my vtec engages at 5 and i redline at like 7800, this just happened today, i do admit i het vtec at least 3 times a day, i was like wtf, so did i **** something up?

Well if your engine is still running correctly, then i would say its your Tachometer thats causing this inaccurate reading of rpms.

Try temporarily switching guage clusters with a friend, if it's just the tach, then get another one, an aftermarket tach, or a Type R cluster. If the problem persists after swapping the cluster, then the problem is somewhere in the wiring or one of the sensors.
