Default need electrical help.....

last night i was working on the car and a socket wrench hit the alternator and grounded its self out...i forgot to pull the battery when i was working on the car and now nothing works in the car.....the dome light, when i turn the key to the on position nothing happens....alarm still works...but nothing else....is there a "main" fuse i should try? tia....

Yeah, my hondas have a 'main' fuse & a couple more big ones, too. In the underhood fusebox, they're the ones that are mounted with screws, nut plug-in. Main might be 100-amp, the other big ones are 40 or 50 amp.

look really good at those fuses jimblake is suggesting, one of them have to be blown

i did that one time too, i kept on overlooking the blown fuse when it was there

which one was blown?

check the big square ones that are held on by screws, like the battery i.e.
