is this "thing" a basic cutout, or is it special for turbos etc?

cheesefrog has it on his car,

looks like a cutout, but right out the turbo,
so open right there, or hit a switch and it goes to the exhaust?


placement is VERY CLOSE to the turbo tho...
so i dunno if it's a basic cutout?

they are universal and you can out them anywhere after the turbo. I have extra 3" cut outs. check out my sig for more info.
