for performance numbers.. the older Volvo BTCC 99 spec race car can hit 0-30 in 2.0 sec, 0-60 in 4.5sec.. and 0-100 in 9.1sec and can get back from 0-100-0 in 13.6 sec.. Number are from Autocar Issue June 99 I'm sure they may have done newer ones comparing BTCC cars to normal street cars..
so u can guestimate that thought they were only making 300 brake hp.. the sheer acceleration of the car itself made up for it's lack of Monsterous Numbers.. remember it's not just power it's also how u put it down =P

Yeah, but before you can put it to the ground, it has to be there first!

ExAcc, this link might help out

http://b16a.honda-perf.org/motorsport.html

Scroll to the bottom of the page where it has Accord BTCC.
If you could find the mag somewhere, it has a lot of info. I remember
reading that article. The mag is still being published, but by someone
else.

i misspoke, i should have said they are rated @ 300 bhp (around that number) as opposed to limited, i was not thinkin clearly, again the adderall seems to make me a bit impulsive and jittery; anyway, if the primera you listed has 300 bhp, factor in a 15-20% driveline loss (mainly dude to the complex sequential trans), you get around 240-250 whp, not all that out of this world for a full race application with complex engine management, exotic materials and super fuels...

I think the link said 320+ hp. @ 8300 rpm. I come up with a different number using 17% (to be fair) drivetrain loss. (I'd be surprised if the drivetrain loss isn't alot lower on that car)
