my prelude seems to be holdin back, the vtec kicks in at 5500rpm, but it stops at 6500rpm, it usually kicks up to 7500. its an auto and should hav a smooth gear change at 7500 automatically, but it hits 6500 and it feels like i've red lined it and wont change gear unless i eased the throttle.. also, after driving it a few times, the car fails to start up, give her 5 mins, she'll be fine and starts up again.. any ideas?? i've been told that it could be the heat sensor on the cat or ecu playing up.. but i dont wanna throw a load of money at it n it wont solve my probs.. pleeeeeeaase help.. i read the review on these vtecs b4 and it says out of all the productions made, not one vtec has gone wrong yet.. thats like 'wow'.. could i be the first??
