what internals and brands should i use for my new D16 build. it will be NA but not realy, i will also be running a 50-75 shoot of nitrous. help me out. Oh, and keep in mind that i am a CHEAP bastard.

 

Alright I won't give you the typical use the search function post here. Probably go with Eagle Rods and either Arias pistons or another brand of your choice as far as internals. Basically if you want to build some high horsepower you can never go wrong with overbuilding it.

 

cheap bastards uses shot peened rods and other oem parts that raise compression. you won't be pushing more than probably 200 fhp N/A running street gas any how.

 

Forged pistons will save your engine when using NOS. A 70mm throttle body is a little big for an N/A D16, by the way.

 

thats on my current engine, ignore my sig, i'm building a new one, and it's not to big if you have a port matched intake.
