why don't you adjust your idle? it could be a couple things,

1. your throttle cable is too tight, loosen it and give it a tiny bit of slack.
2. adjust your idle screw, should be on top of your throttle body, sometimes a rubber plug covering it, take it off, then turn with a flathead a 1/4 turn at a time, until you get it to where you want it.
