Is my flywheel D.O.A.?
Sorry for the pic size, I'm not very skilled with posting pics. I dropped the tranny of my beater this weekend ('85 mr2) and found a mess. One of the springs on the clutch disk had disintegrated. I bought the car used a few months ago with 140,000 miles, and I have every reason to believe it's the original clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, etc. Can I have some opinions on whether the flywheel is in "ok" shape to re-use. Possibly if I get it resurfaced at a machine shop? Pic is below.
Also, how do I tell if the pressure plate is serviceable? None of the fingers are broken. Is there a wear pattern I should look out for, or "springiness"? Also, what signs of wear should I look for in the throw out bearing?
Since this is my beater, I'd like to get away with buying a new clutch plate and re-using the rest of the parts if I can. I can't imagine the car will last more than another 30-50,000 miles anyway, so cheap is the word. Thanks for your help!

The flywheel doesn't look that bad, just get it resurfaced. Mine doesn't look much worse than yours, IMO. Also, I wouldn't re-use the PP... you'll end up prematurely having to remove your tranny and replace the clutch again. Compare the time you'd waste re-doing it vs. the cost of doing it right the 1st time... time is money
