Clutch need help

Default Clutch need help

I have an exedy single plat metalic clutch ,it took about less than 6 month and it is gone case,what do i need to do ,do i need to purchase the whole kit again or can i just replace certain parts .Since the plate is 3 puck can i replace with some other disc that last longer if i am not mistake is the disc only need to be replace right?

First inspect your clutch.
Second, check to see if you can find replacement parts without buying the whole kit.

Inspect your pressure plate. If your pressure plate looks fine (no bent or broken "fingers"), then you can keep your existing pressure plate. Then inspect your flywheel. If your flywheel is overheated and gouged out beyond repair/resurfacing, then you have to replace your flywheel. If your flywheel looks fine, then resurface your flywheel and you're good to go. Replace your clutch disc.
