My engine is blown.. what do i do???
I have a 94 b18c in a 93 civic. The spark plug melted and hit the piston. I have damage to the cylinder and the wall. The thread in my head is messed up too...Re threading the block is no problem... its just the block. I have skunk2 (stage 2 cams, springs, retainers, ECU, high comp valves, exhaust, and intake manifold), head is ported by JG, dc headers, VAFC, FPR, msd ignition. I dont know if i should part it out and drop in a H22, my wife wants me to keep the engine since we have everything for it. Should i go ls/vtec or resleeve block? im soo lost right now on what to do...I have enough money.. not to go all out, but enough. thanks
resleeve the block and get ready for boost. a well tuned JRSC'ed B18C1 is murder on the street.
get some 9:1 comp forged pistons and a nice set of forged rods too.

blocks can be had for next to nothing.....just find another block on http://www.thepartstrader.com http://www.ebaymotors.com http://www.hondaclassifieds.com or even our local classifieds forum...
if you can do the work yourself you won't be out too much.
