I was pulling a motor out today with my friends engine lift, then all of a sudden the lift stopped working. It just wouldnt go up any higher. Am I supposed to put more hydolic jack oil in it? and how do I do that?

 

its probably at its max point of lift. shorten the sling/chains that is attach to the engine. if you have it too long, it'll limit the amount you can lift the engine up

 

i dont think thats it, cause I lowered the lift, tried to raise it again, and no budge...

 

is it adjustable? (meaning setting like 1ton, 1/2ton, 2 ton,)
you also might want to take the ram out and fully extend it then fully compress it.
mine was stubbron too but it worked after i set the ram to the correct position.
