The guides will wear out faster than if they were untouched.

the joint of valves will be changed more quickly than envisaged, but I want to know if the valves can become unstable because of the guides shortened or that has exchange nothing...?

i port heads and i also cut guides and i can say that you will be ok the only way you are gonna have any problems at all is if the guides where worn to begin with ... but for the most part you are ok .. just dont over rev or miss shift or any thing like that and you will be ok.. and if you do feel wierd about it than contact you porter and have him replace guides.. but you will have to redo your valve job again
