I was hoping someone could help me. I just bought an MSD Pro Cap distributor cap the other day, and when I went to put it on today it doesnt quite fit. It is definitely the correct one. The person i bought the engine from said the distributor is new, and Im thinking maybe its not OEM. The cap fits over and I can get 2 out of 3 screws through, and the other is like 1/16" off. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Is it ok to just have 2 sides screwed in? And also, to make it fit I had to remove the inside cover, is this ok also? Please help! TIA!

Wow, are you sure? I bought it from Summit, theyre a legit place, so i assume I contact MSD and do it through them?

 

I don't know man. I went MSD with Summit = Perfect Match
Maybe the place you bought it from threw the wrong one in the box
It wont just not work with one car. Wrong part Bro....
