Default Is the msd draining my battery??

I installed the msd 6al with blaster ss coil and it works fine.I also installed a stereo on my eg and like a couple of weeks later my batter starts to get drained.I took the stereo out and same thing. Now my car wont start unless i jump start it and its completly drained.I thought the alternator is bad but i drove the car and its fine,be when i shut it up the car wont start no more.I also notice i had connected the msd to the positive terminal on the batter as where i get my juice. What could be wrong.

I did a search but didnt find anything that helped.

From what ive heard, MSD boxes use alot of power, and have a tendancy to do that in some instances, anyone else?

the part where you connected the msd to the pos. battery cable could be wrong...I don't think that it needs constant power. I'm pretty sure you just need to get power from an ignition power lead. There is one on that goes to the distributor that you could use. Otherwise just use anything that comes on with ignition and stays on with ignition.
