Default Motor swap

Wassup honda techs....

I have a 1990 honda civic 4dr sedan with a 16valve stock motor. I have a burnt valve in my #1 cylinder, so my mechanic told me to buy a used honda motor. I want to know if a 16valve motor from a 96' civic will fit into my car and will I gain more hp if it does. Also, I want to know the difference in terms of hp between NGK plugs and Bosch+ platinum 4 plugs. I have bosch platinum 4 plugs in my car, but from reviewing other forums, they said that NGKs are good for honda civics. Can u tell me why?

Holla back...

b17a are rare and run a high price.

Maybe the first gen b16a?
