motor smoking, not a normal question
Setup: ITR swap, ported head i/h/e Z10 catch can (from hi-comp days) 9100 miles on rebuilt setup
About three days ago my car started smoking at idle a bit, so I figure the catch can is full and I dump it. It was full. Well the smoking didn't stop, it progressively got worse. It smokes when Idleing and when I first take off but after that it stops (or seems to). The only way to make it stop is WOT. Today I pulled the plugs and did a compression check. 210 across the board. So then I crank the car and pull the plug wires one by one to see if I can make it stop smoking to pinpoint the problem cylinder. No such luck. It still smoked the whole time. I took the filter off of the catch can to feel if any air was coming from the can. It was barely enough to feel if any. Has anyone experienced this?
