Default motor problems

i have a b18b swaped into my civic and i am trying to work out all the kinks. when i give it gas it seems to be fine but after wide open throttle the motor idles way down and sometimes even cuts out. I have been scratching my head for days now and i need some help. any ideas on what might be the problem?

Change it and give it another try. It's a good thing to change regularly anyway.A fuel pressure guage or a wide band would help tell if its the filter but just give it a try.
