Motor bogs on Full Throttle on ITR
Just did a fresh rebuild.
Stats...
97 spec jdm itr
ALl sensors hooked up properly, no engine codes, P28 chipped ecu.
Ran perfect before i pulled the motor, now it bogs if i put the pedal to the floor, also i cant take rpms past 3 grand....
Any ideas?

What octane fuel are you running? Could make a difference... Try switching fuel... I had close to the same problem and it was because i was running 93 and should have been running 87... So maybe its your fuel??? I dont kno... Just a thought..
feel like its hitting a rev limiter? had something like this happen to me before. ended up being the ignitor in the dizzy. swaped a new one and tried it, worked for 2 yrs before i sold it.....check the cap/rotor/plugs.
Runnin 93 octane. Its not a really a rev limiter, but if i put the pedal past 10-15% the motor bogs down to idle and even wants to die if i hold it long enough.
Next thing to check is the plugs.
We swapped the map and tps, so those arnt it. We are in the process of swapping the sensor on the back of the manifold (I cant remember what its called) its the thing with the black cylinder on it....
Oh yeah, my fast idle air control valve is bypassed, no coolant lines are ran through it....
