More LS-VTEC Turbo problems.
Ok here is my latest and greatest problem. It just started doing this today. after the car gets warmed up it idles at 800-900. If you leave the car at idle for more than a minute of idling the rpms will jump up to 1200. Then when you push the gas up to 1600 or so its like it gets hung up on something and goes up and down between 1600-1750. If u push the gas more eventually it will get over the hump and revs free throughout the entire rpm range. Almost impossible to drive it like this cause when u try to accelerate whole car jumps like crazy. But if you turn car off and back on again it clears it until it sits for like a minute at idle. As long as u r driving it or keep hitting the gas every 15-20 seconds it wont do this. i made a post yesterday about a fuel problem. Everytime the car makes more than 2-3 psi it cuts in and out. Dont know if this is part of the same problem or what. Yesterday we swapped around so many vacum lines trying to fix the fuel problem but no luck
. We put them all back the same way as we had them. Well hopefully I supplied enough info on whats going on so someone can help me out with this. Thanks a lot.

I reset the ecu ...it cleared it for about 15-20 monutes then it came back again. Im guessing it has something to do with my check valves. Anybody know what it could be and how could I rig it up to last about 400 miles. My Hondata came in today (thanks Kyle), so all I need now is my intake mani then the car is going straight to arkansas to get tuned.
Usually iac faults have those kind of symptoms. Unplug it to see how it changes. Warm it up first, it may have trouble idling cold w/o it. I suppose you've already checked for vaccuum leaks. The easy way to find them if they're not on the manifold is to squeeze each vaccum hose from it with pliers and eventually you'll find the faulty hose.
Your symptoms also kinda describe a MAP fault. When using those 5 way vaccum fittings with check valves, make sure the sensor has the straightest vaccum source and that the check valves are easy. I spent a little while at petsmart once looking for the weakest checkvalves I could find.
