Default Idle problem and bogging problem? help please

Whats up guys.

I fixed my idle problem which was the FITV was just all the way open so i just closed it all the way. anyways so my car worked fine all day and now randomly tonight its starting to have a idle problem again.

the car just started to randomly die if i let off the gas. it idles fine for about 30 seconds then idle just lets go and drops to almost stalling the car and sometimes it does stall. Also when im driving now randomly cause the car was working all day but now when im driving the car will bog and try to kill itsself when im trying to gass it. so i let off the gas and then smashed on it and it bogged again but finally caught up. I have no check light or anything. please help anything would be usfull.

i seem to be having the same problem with my 91 integra ls. the motor is rebuilt and it ran fine but all of a sudden the rpm's started to jump and now it bogs as if my car is full of fat people and it struggles to catch speed. i don't know what it is. it feels like it pulls but then its slows down to the point that you feel the car rock back and forth while driving. some say it's the plugs but i don't know. i think it might be the valves. but still i'm not completly sure, any help with this will be appreciated.

Did you clean the IACV? Sounds like a bad iacv to me....do you have a check engine light? Is your coolant full?

Actually, I didnt read the entire post.....if the car is bogging as well, its probably not the IACV. It might be a MAP problem...or a fuel problem. What all mods do you have, if any?

there are no mods on it at all. but it's weird cause i heard that the 91 ls motor redlines at 6500 rpm. and this one redlined at 7200 rpm. so i don't know if the previous owner did any modifcations. he said no but he had young kids around my age that were all into the racing scene. the motor was rebuilt. so i thought it would be strong and last. but how would i be able to fix this problem or would i be better off just replacing the whole motor. i'm not sure what to do. i ran out of my five posts so i won't be able to reply to your info but thankyou in advance.

it might have something to do with flow of fuel to the engine... i've encountered problems with fuel pumps going bad and not putting enough fuel to the engine to keep it running... just something else to check out

"Generally" you'll get a check engine light for the TPS. You can check it if you have an ohm meter though (its free....so I'd do that first). I had an odd on/off problem like that and it turned out to be the wiring for my MAP sensor....and really, theres a slew of things it could be.

well i don't know i did clean the entire fuel system i just got to wait and see what happens. i went down to my friend at the junkyards down by my house and he said it could be something electrical, be the distributor, or the fuel pump and/or filter.would these be possibities in the reason why my car is bogging?...

well so far it seems to be running a lil better. i haven't check the fuel pump yet though. it doesn't bog as much. just when i hit about 110 mph. but the motor still doesn't feel as strong as it used to. so i quess i'll just have to wait a lil longer to see what happens. any more suggestions on what it could be?

the timing is perfect and the fuel pump is brand new and it's still bogging. i don't know what else it could be. car got me stumped. my dad said it could possibly be the ecu. so i guess that's what i'm gonna check out today. any more suggestions on what it could be if it's not the ecu????....

i replaced the ecu. and it runs perfectly now. i guess that and the cleaning of the fuel system replacing the map sensor, checking the timing, and giving the car a complete tune-up it worked out fine. the rpm's on the tach still jump so i guess i'll just replace that sensor too. thanks for the help everyone.
