Picked up this months Honda Tuning and there was an article about a crx with a 1.5 that they took some used mitsubishi parts and turbo'd with a T25 from a second gen Eclipse. Has anyone done this, or know of anyone who has? I think I'm going to try it with my 4dr engine.

 

I assume that no one has seen this before? If you have welding abbilities and tools, it's a sub $300 job. CRX was rated at 170 hp after the mod.

its called a DIY turbo or junk yard turbo...geez

 

you can use any stock turbo almost from starions to volvos to 300zxs..mix and match whatever you want, use an intercooler or not, tons of options...and you can 'basically' get everything from stock cars in the yard...

you should talk to AZtecEJ, he's my friend Tom and he's doing it right now. he's got everything set up and he's even utilizing the DSM stock Sidemount for the sleeper look. Everything looks cool. I think he made a post about that.
