Default Miss fire problems! help!

Ok i just finished installing the Edlebrock intake manifold on a b16a2, now the first time i started the car since the install i noticed the engine was running hard and i had the CEL flashing miss fire. now i check my plugs (good) i check my wires (also good) and just replaced the cap with an msd pro cap and external coil hoping this would remidy the problem. after installing i started it up and still no change. i also noticed when i bring the throttle up to try increase the voltage going to the cap, it sticks at what ever RPM i bring it to!

im totally lost and running out of ideas.

Anyone?

thanks

did you put the plug wires in the right firing order? i would get the firing order of your motor and double check this first.

Be sure all manifold bolts/nuts are tightened. You may have left one or all a little loose. Triple check them I had an almsot similar problem, but the car only idled at 3k rpm. I retightened all bolts/nuts 3 times. Fixed the problem right away. Also check the throttle body bolts.
