map sensor n vtec ???????????????

I have a quick question my vtec is not engaging but i have a map sensor cel could this be the the problem why its not engaging.

yes the engine senses load from map sensor to engage vtec as well as oil pressure vehisle speed throttle position so so and so on. so incorrect map sensor reqading no vtec.

as soon as your MIL is on for any thing, you will get no vtec, on the note that your running a completely stock ecu
