You no longer have the TPS code, right?
Was the original MAP sensor located on the firewall? Does the new engine instead have the MAP sensor on the throttle body? If so, make sure the MAP sensor connector is plugged into the MAP sensor on the throttle body. Also make sure that none of the sensor connectors were accidentally swapped.

I also have the D15b, but I have an extra plug, and cannot figure out where it's supposed to go. There are three identical plugs, just with different colored wires.
One goes to the Fast Idle Control, one to the MAP sensor, and the other is a mystery. Which goes where?
Plug 1: Yellow with red stripe, green with white stripe, white
Plug 2: Yellow with white stripe, green with white stripe, red with blue stripe
Plug 3: Yellow with green stripe, green with blue stripe, pink with white stripe.
HELP!

I took some pictures:
Plug 1: Yellow with red stripe, green with white stripe, white(plugged into MAP sensor. Is that correct?)
Plug 2: Yellow with white stripe, green with white stripe, red with blue stripe
TPS That's correct; it's in the TPS sensor.
Plug 3: Yellow with green stripe, green with blue stripe, pink with white stripe.
I am lost.

Are they possibly both MAP sensor plugs, one for the original firewall sensor and the other for the new throttle body sensor?
Where do the wires pin to the ECU?

Holy Toledo Batman, I think you may have something. The one with the pink wire is coming off of the firewall, yes...and the first one is coming off of the main harness.... WOW. I'm blown away. Now I just have to fix the idling problem. I thought it was because of the mystery plug. I'll start with the map sensor!
Does that plug matter anymore? Should I use the MAP sensor on the harness or on the firewall?

Re: d15b bogging out!!!!!!!!!please help
The firewall connector should remain free and not be connected to the ECU whereas the wire harness connector should be connected to the TB MAP sensor and to the ECU.
