Would an engine from an 84 civic with a manual tranny bolt up into an 87 civic with an auto?

You mean to tell me that you have an 87 Honda with an AUTOMATIC and it's still working? Damn, I thought I was good. What's your secret? It won't DIRECTLY bolt up, you'll probably need mounts and brackets (Auto's are way bigger than manuals).. Other than that, I really don't think you'll have a huge problem with it.
