Maintainance light how sever is it?
When the light comes on and says that maintainance is required, how sever is it? What could be wrong with my car? I just hit 100k miles I've had all of the belts changed, and just got an oil change a week ago.
I find that when driving on the highway my steering wheel shakes a little bit. What is that due to?

the maintenance light is a dummy light. it is just there to remind you to have it serviced. check your owners manual andit should tell you how to turn it off. the light will continue to come on at specified intervals. the shake at highway speeds could be that your tires need to be balanced. however, the shake could also be several other things. try to be more descriptive of how and when the problem occurs and you'll get a more accurate response.

Did you get a new timing belt, too?? Some people say 'all the belts' when they mean just the external belts.

heh, i dunno why ppl call it a light, when its just a colored dial thing. it has 3 colors, green orange, and red. all it does is turn to orange a certain milage, then to red. all its telling you is that there is a scheduled maintinance that is required at that milage. check your manaual, and see what needs to be done.
it doesn't come on because something is wrong. and if you want it back to green, just take your car key, and there should be a little button type thing next to it, push it in, and it will be green.
