Default Main Relay issue

This has finally got on my nervous. I went too dyno and had some map sensor problem. I checked the ecu and when i grabbed it the main relay clicked and it re primed my pump.

I tought it was the engine harness, so i go buy a new one. Install it all and same problem occurs. I disconnected the T1 trigger and it stopped doing it. I tought it was in the wiring too the trigger so i check the voltage and all is fine.

What could be casuing this? or how can i bypass the main relay completley? I have tried 3 diffret relays and they all do the same thing. I have check allthe wiring in the car and cant find anything wrong or loose.

Sounds to me like you have an ECU problem, something like a cold solder connection.

You can't really bypass the PGM-FI Main relay, it controls power for the injectors and the fuel pump, the ECU controls the fuel pump relay in the PGM-FI Main Relay.
I suppose you could just replace the ECU control of the fuel pump relay with a switch to supply the relay with the ground it needs as a temp. fix, don't forget to turn it off. 94

Well I have my Fuel pump on a switch already. I dont use the Relay for that anymore. I guess what im really trying to figure out, is how i can power the injectors and ecu without the relay. I tought about adding an Extrnal relay. I have been studying wire digrams all day and i still cant figure it out.

Why not just repair the PGM-FI Main Relay issue, it is a very effective way to power the fuel pump, injectors, ECU and a few engine sensor/valves that it powers up, you would have to build/wire up a pair of relays to do what the pair of relays in the PGM-FI Main Relay is supposed to do, it would make more sense to just fix the problem. 94

check your ecu grounds, had similar problem with sensors; car would change the way it runs when i grabbed/moved the ecu.
wiring from ecu to main relay and ecu to g101
