Mahle Pistons w/Eagle Rods?!
I heard there were no need to replace sleeves when going for the Mahle pistons?
How much HP could i gain to step up to 11.3-1 c/r compared to 10.6 which is standard on my H22 JDM engine?
Of course i will change the whole head as well for some better Camshafts and other springs/valves so i´ll be able to rev uppon 9k rpm
I want to continue tune "all motor" style and no turbo what so ever..
But first i want to see if its worth it or not
...really love N/A so..
(Im tuning with S300)

had several issues with mahle pistons not having deep enough valve reliefs.
they design pistons for stock cam profiles it seems. try using a big vtec lobe and they hit. seen several engines turn into junk.
no bueno in my book. i've built 5 or 6 engines with the mahle's and i don't plan on doing it again.
there's no smoothing on them at all, very sharp, steep domes, etc.
if you have a jdm h22, and will stay all motor, with no nitrous, etc.. then just mill the head, use some flat-face valves, and go with a big cam. really high compression doesn't make near as much power on honda engines as people think. bigger bore and big cams is where i see the best results. don't stroke it, and rev the **** out of it. oh yeah!
try to keep your combustion chamber looking like a rounded triangle /_\ much better for concentrating the combustion explosion straight downward on the center of the piston, instead against the sides of a big dome.... think about it before you just go buying parts
