Default Magnaflow Mufflers

i was thinking about getting the center/offset muffler. is it any different from the c/c mufflers in any way? im hoping it might be a little more quiet than its straight through brothers.

They're both straight-through designs (as opposed to chambered), so the volume level will most likely be extremely similar. The only difference is that the perforated inner piping on the offset muffler is curved slightly, while the center/center version is straight. The different inlet/outlet locations are simply meant to allow proper positioning and fitment, not to alter sound levels. If you're trying to reduce volume, you could add a resonator (if you haven't already), or install a second resonator.

well, if it's offset inlet/outlet, the distance it has to go through the perforated tube should be slightly longer, correct? Probably not enough to make a difference at all in sound however...

Theoretically it should have slightly better sound control because of the longer passage, but the difference in length is so minimal that for all intents and purposes the volume levels will be identical, which is why I didn't bother mentioning it.
